After going to several men’s breakfasts, I came to the Cardiff Men’s Convention in 2009. I felt inspired through the event and shortly afterwards the Lord put it on my heart to start a men’s breakfast in East Wales. On October 2009 we held our first breakfast Dewstow Golf Club, Caerwent. We have been going since then, meeting on the second Saturday of each month at and have seen many churches supporting us from Newport to Chepstow and even from Gloucestershire. We are linked with MenUnited which was started in Bath by Don Latham, a previous Cardiff Men’s Convention speaker. The purpose is twofold, to reach out to men who would not easily go to a church or church based event, and to encourage and inspire unity amongst Christians from all denominations through fellowship and networking.
