Dai Hankey, a pastor who is currently planting a church up in the Welsh Valleys was interviewed about his work during this year’s Cardiff Men’s Convention. Later he wrote to us to tell us how he had been stirred into action ‘I was strongly prodded by the Holy Spirit at the Men's Convention to start writing a book that I've been thinking of writing for a while now! It's called "The Hard Corps: In the trenches with David's Mighty Men" and will be a relatively short, blunt and uncompromising book aimed specifically at men, looking at what it means to be a warrior for God, using the incredible exploits of David's Mighty Men (in 2Samuel 23) as examples. It's in the very early stages of writing, but I'm seriously buzzing about it and committed to hopefully knocking it out before the summer. Dai has since had agreement from the Good Book Company that they will publish the completed book.
